About Us

The People Empowerment and Development Foundation (PEDF) is a Non-Governmental organization; a  Microfinance Institution (NGO-MFI) focused on promoting financial inclusion and social cohesion in underprivileged communities across Africa, beginning with Cross River State, Nigeria.

Our plan is focused on showing empathy and extending support to vulnerable and underbanked individuals within the identified areas by offering affordable banking services to those at the base of the economic pyramid.

OUR FOCUS

Through the PEDF platform, we provide customized products tailored to address the specific social and financial needs of women, youth, and the economically active poor in rural communities across Nigeria. Using our rural digital microfinance model, we empower and educate those at the base of the economic pyramid on the importance of financial inclusion.

PEDF promotes the adoption of effective financial literacy and management practices by focusing on educating and uplifting grassroots communities. Our mission is to deepen financial inclusion, especially for women and youth in rural areas, through innovative digital solutions and a strong dedication to service excellence, social outreach, financial education, and community Development.
