Donatus Emmanuel Ibor is a skilled and accomplished Chartered Economist and Chartered Microfinance Banker with over a decade of versatile experience spanning business development, banking operations, customer service, risk management, and strategic leadership in financial institutions. His expertise is rooted in his ability to drive operational efficiency, grow portfolios, and deliver exceptional financial solutions.
Donatus began his career as an Account Officer with the Universal Education Board, Ebonyi State, where he was responsible for payroll preparation and staff salary disbursement, gaining early experience in financial administration. He further expanded his expertise by working with African Alliance Insurance Company, where he developed skills in insurance business management.
In December 2009, Donatus joined CSD Microfinance Bank in Ikom as a Customer Service Officer. His exceptional leadership, customer engagement strategies, and problem-solving skills led to his promotion through various key departments, culminating in his appointment as Manager of Business Development. In this role, he excelled in driving product adoption, managing client portfolios, and enhancing profitability, while fostering a high-performance team culture.
In 2017, he transitioned to Unical Microfinance Bank Limited as Branch Manager, where he successfully restructured operational processes, optimized loan evaluation protocols, and improved customer satisfaction. His dynamic leadership style and keen insights into market trends significantly contributed to the bank’s growth.
Donatus is currently the Managing Director of PED Foundation MFI, where he continues to apply his extensive experience in microfinance banking to drive the organization’s success.
