He is an Internal Audit Practitioner, He has built capacity with over 17 years experience especially in Audit and Control, Marketing and Sales, Banking Operations / Customer Support Service, Loan Evaluation and Appraisal, Risk Asset management; Loan Workout, Recovery and Collections.
He started his career with Genini Pharmaceutical Ltd., in Lagos as an internal auditor (IT). He worked with Wale Agunbiade & Co (Audit Firm) in Lagos after his youth service in 2007 as an Account Officer. He joined MIC Microfinance Bank in 2008 as Business Executive, Credit and Risk Officer. He proceeded to UBA by Dec. 2008 as a Relationship Officer and was moved to operations in 2011. He later joined Mutual Benefit Life Assurance Ltd. In 2013. His experience in banking operations earns him a job with FCMB in 2016 as Recovery Officer (Consumer Collection and Recovery) in North A Region and subsequently moved to Internal Audit in 2019. He later joined a team of management that profiled and began Pristine Divitis Microfinance Bank as the Head, Internal Audit and Control in 2022. He currently works with an e-commerce and payment services (Fintech Company) as an Internal Audit and Control Officer.
Makinde holds an HND in Accounting from Osun Sate Polytechnic, Iree, Osun State, and have attended trainings and certified courses in Money Laundering (MLRS) (United Bank for Africa Plc and Alerzo Limited.), Consumer – Credit. (United Bank for Africa, Plc.), Credit Efficiency, Delinquency and Risk Management (Shorecap Exchange Investment Canada in alliance with MIC Microfinance Bank), General Credit and Risk Management (MIC Microfinance Bank), and Data Protection and Privacy Course (Alerzo Limited).
